   Lots of things are famous that I haven't read; who has the time to read   
   everything?  Also, I have a tendency to forget titles and authors.   
   "Frost and Fire" evokes a mood that I attach to the story, so it's   
   possible that I am thinking of the Bradbury, albeit with an imperfect   
   memory.  I did manage to read a collection or two of his stories once   
   I'd figured out that the local library shelves him under non-genre.
