   Yes, but given the range of topics covered in academia, saying that any   
   woman of high rank in it must have received her place for political   
   correctness, not for ability, contradicts what you said about women being   
   better at some things and worse in others.  For example, women are often   
   said to have better verbal skills than men, on average, so it would not   
   be a surprise to find highly-placed female scholars in fields such as   
   literature and history.
