   That would be a useful theory if it wasn't a fact that women tend to be,   
   _at all levels_ worse off than men. This starts with less pay for the   
   same job and does not finish with women being pressured into roles that   
   have fewer benefits and less payment than men who do, essentially, the   
   same job.   
      
   If I go to a high street hairdresser, I have to pay £30 to get my short   
   hair cut. If I were male, with the same hairstyle, I'd have to pay £15.   
   This is a trivial example, but it illustrates how the system works.
