   This isn't a boxing match; it's a political protest.  And I for one   
   don't recall punching anyone.   
      
   It's not about old grievances.  It's about current grievances:  I am   
   aggrieved that here and now, people not only support a position that   
   helps sustain inequity in society, but attack the people trying to say   
   that it does this.  It's about future grievances:  I know that if I   
   stay, this will happen over and over again.   
      
   It's about the fact that when I suggested moving to rasfm, you said it   
   wasn't necessary, but now that *you* want to move I should go along.   
   That wasn't how rasfm was supposed to work.  --I'm not drawing up sides,   
   Bill.  I'm pointing this discrepancy out to you because, of all the   
   people on rasfc, I think you might pay attention to me:  it's indicative   
   of my respect for you that I think you can learn to see that,   
   unintentional as I'm sure it was, there is a double standard going on.   
   I'm not blaming you; double standards are inherent in the society's air   
   we breathe.  But you can learn, with effort, to see them and to avoid   
   perpetuating them.
