From: rolzup@gmail.com              When I was a kid in Philadelphia, back in the late 1970s/early 1980s, the       local “Five and Dime” store had a bunch of posters for sale. They were all       science-fiction in theme, but not tied to any movie...or to any book that I’ve       personally seen. I’ve        been trying to track them down, without any luck, in recent years.              There was probably a dozen of these posters all told, but only two of them       really remain in my memories, and even those are a little vague.              One showed a crashed ship on a desolate planet; in the distance, a silhouette       of some sort of flying creature could be seen, with a piece of the wreckage in       its talons.              The other, which adorned my wall for many years, showed three white starships       in orbit around a planet; one of them was firing on another, and blowing a       hole in it.              I'd love to see these again, and to figure out who the artist was. Anyone       have any memory of these prints?               Rolzup              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
