   So I have no objection to supporting your point.   
      
   I'm poking at what I think are weak points in several arguments and   
   supporting what I think are strong points in other arguments.  If I'm

   I'm not sure how the magic keyword "fractals" applies here.  The   
   journey has a fractal nature, but nobody has explained a technology   
   that uses that fractal nature.   
      
   Someone suggested a modular system, where a passenger compartment is   
   handed off from one vehicle to another to carry just the passenger,   
   his stereo system (etc) and the clutter that someone said he always   
   wants with him.  I don't expect that to work, but it's an interesting   
   suggestion.   
      
   I don't mind walking 100 feet or so between steps of the journey, but   
   I don't like the half-mile walks and long waits that current public   
   transit requires.
