   When AMD first broke the gigahertz barrier, I think that they were   
   using a 65 watt processor to do it.  But I don't think anyone put   
   those processors into laptops.   
      
   When the Crusoe processor was trying to break into the market, they   
   would disconnect the fan on competing laptops, and run their (fanless)   
   laptops side by side with the Intel ones until the Intel ones shut   
   down or broke into smoke.
