   So only 42 km. I was assuming that the electric car could be recharged   
   while you were at work. I am not saying that nobody commutes over 100 km   
   (single trip distance), just that most who do are able to use some other   
   kind of transport.

   The English are mad. Many of them, including some in my family, commute   
   much farther than 100 miles every day by train. On the other hand, they   
   have fast trains which neither your country nor mine have.
