   Clothing is one area where online purchasing is problematical because   
   one manufacturer's 32 is another's 34, there are numerous different   
   fits, and if something needs to be altered the local store will   
   generally do it for free or for a nominal charge, while if you buy   
   online and then take it to a tailor he's going to charge by the hour.
