   This is part of why "pod" transit systems aren't necessarily going to   
   work for everything.  Sometimes people just want to look out the window   
   and see the world they live in.  Even in a sci-fi future that has   
   teleporters, people are probably still going to want to enjoy a ride   
   from time to time.
