Not a full car, but you can already download plans for car parts.

There was a story in the local newspaper towards the end of last year
about someone is using a 3D printer and downloaded plans to build the
bodywork panels for a replica of an old Aston Martin in his home garage
(he is using the 3D printer to make moulds to then make the car
bodywork itself out of fibreglass, but it's the same idea and with
better 3D printers you won't need the extra step).

People *want* to waste hours trying to find over-priced parking or
waiting for buses that don't turn up, then sitting in noisy, smelly
restaurants and paying over-priced amounts for food (often either
miniscule portions and / or smoothered in disgusting sauces) when they
already have some at home in the fridge and cupboards?? Some people are
   just plain crazy!! ;-)
