   You just described my current job.  I am living in Tennessee, working   
   from home as an employee of a California company, writing computer   
   programs for a client company in Massachusetts.  The majority of my co-   
   workers don't live in Massachusetts, either.  Meetings are done via phone   
   calls and remote desktop-sharing.
