   Most of the motorway on-ramps now have "flow control" traffic lights on   
   them (letting one car at a time through), which simply adds to the race   
   track mentally of some people who shove their foot to the floor as soon   
   as it turns green for them, especially on the on-ramps with two lanes   
   (that quickly merges into one lane before joining the motorway).  :-(
