   Meanwhile, an English usage rant that's circulating as a Facebook link   
   spends about half its fury on the idea that objects "need" something.   
   A casserole needs more pepper or such.  To me, object-oriented English   
   is a great idea, even though I'm too old-school to think in object   
   oriented programming.
