   In my case, the train is far too expensive. It's not easy to google, but   
   last time I made serious enquiries it was about nearly as much as a   
   first class air fare, over $1000 - of course, that includes three meals   
   a day for 2 and half days. You can do "sit-up", but that is painful. By   
   contrast, I'm going to Canberra next Easter and we've got a return fare   
   to Sydney for $120 - I presume we're sitting on the wing somewhere.
