   Yup, me too.  I was a kid in the back seat, driving northbound up   
   Route 99 in California near Bakersfield.  Big, huge truck tire comes   
   bounding at us from the southbound side, big high bounces and easily   
   100mph speed differential, could have crushed any passenger car of the   
   time, passed maybe fifty yards in front of us and bounced off to the   
   right and behind us, I didn't see anyone hit but also didn't see where   
   it stopped.   
      
   But that's the only one I recall in a lot of years and a lot of cars,   
   fwiw.
