   Giant petroleum corporations are funding media campaigns which sow   
   doubt concerning global warming, just like earlier giant tobacco   
   companies were funding media campaigns casting doubt on the idea   
   that tobacco causes lung cancer.   
      
   It's entrenched wealth that's been fighting a rearguard action against   
   the widespread adoption of better energy sources, nuclear, solar etc.
