   As I said, currently Microsoft makes money selling Windows to computer   
   makers ... but whether those computer makers can actually sell the   
   computers is irrelevant to Microsoft's profit since the money is   
   already in Microsoft's bank account.   
      
   Eventually of course, the decreasing sales of computers will mean   
   Microsoft will have to change tack or disappear, and that's exactly   
   what thye've been trying to do more recently. Unfortunately for them   
   (and luckily fo everyone else) Microsoft's attempts at other product   
   lines have been fairly dismal ... the Xbox being the main exception.
