   Yep, then there's the companies who don't want you because you're too   
   old / too experienced. :-\   
      
   There are also the companies that don't want university graduates ("to   
   much theroy, not enough practical application") and prefer polytech   
   graduates instead (which actually do work-placements).   
      
   The whole thing is ridiculously inane, which is why I gave up bothering   
   with it decades ago and have been self-employed.
