   I've tried to find an adjective "liven" in a number of very good   
   dictionaries, and have not succeeded.  Maybe it's merely a misused verb, any   
   you really mean "make or become lively, brighten, cheer".  So, which is your   
   worst verbal skill, diction or grammar?  Is it perhaps that you can't decide   
   which of those faults is more prominent?
