Shez is old. If you know anything about people, you can see that she is
old. She isn't acting out, she is doing something that older people do all
the time, she is relating. She will relate her experience, her life, she is
in Legacy Mode. Legacy Mode is something that older people fall into. Its
a natural human reaction to aging. It isn't senility, or delusion. It may
affect you differently because you aren't used to hearing Legacy Mode
concerning magical topics. You may be more familiar with it concerning
health, awareness of danger, relation of past events and customs....you get
my drift. Usually its a parent or grandparent that you will be exposed to
in these regards. Usenet is different. Its like a living room at a family
event with a lot of relatives that you may only know because someone you
know has pointed them out to you. Sometimes its a party, sometimes its a
drag, but you won't get anywhere heckling the old people. Just listen and
shut up, or move away to a younger crowd more to your liking.
This is the best advice that I can give you. Consider it a pointing out.
