Want to know something rather interesting?
There's a woman I used to be aquainted with that lives in the Boston area.
She comes from a family tradition of witchcraft, which has spanned quite a
few generations. She is a descendant of Rebecca Nurse and Mary Easty (they
were sisters). Her family is unsure exactly when their tradition originated.
It's possible that Rebecca and Mary actually, may have been witches during
the trials. :) There's absolutely no way to prove this, but it's rather
   interesting to ponder.
