   Fine... I am a nice dotty old lady.. Sounds fun to me... Why are you   
   getting angry..after all I have not forced my beliefs on to you, or   
   expected you to beleive in magick...   
   Don't show your anger so obviously it is a debate, it should be fun, and   
   it should encourage thought.. Magick is simply the exercise of a   
   talent.. It happens to work for me. Its worked well enough that I have   
   had a wonderful life, a long and happy marriage, healthy kids and grand   
   kids, some great jobs, a good education, and a lot of luck that would   
   not have normally come my way.   
      
   Yes I have had my bad times, but they always turned out to be another   
   step in the right direction.   
   I am not rich but when I need money its always is their, often its my   
   own money The tax man gives me a rebate.. The bank think they have   
   overcharged me, or something along those line.   
   I don't  expect magick to do the impossible, I expect it to do the   
   possible, I have some talents in that direction, I can grow any plant,   
   even plants that can not normally be grown in my country without an   
   expensively heated greenhouse.   
    Plants like me, and no I don't talk to them or beleive they are human   
   beings... Animals like me, and I don't humanise animals either, but I   
   can do most anything with dogs...even the ones who are normally nasty   
   will happily approach me and try to lick my hand.   
      
    My friends give me their plants to nurse back to health... I am invited   
   to all sorts of events because my friends and relatives know that if I   
   go the sun will shine... I like to think they also invite me because   
   they enjoy my company.. :) But I am aware that my ability with weather   
   is prized.   
   Magick is making the best of everything, making things work for you...   
   not impossible pink unicorns or elves and fairies.. It takes a very   
   confident person to use magick but I am confident.. My life has made me   
   so, I am strong willed... I am capable, and I can be scary.   
      
   If I cursed you it wouldnt be with an accident or your parents dying it   
   would be to get your hearts desire, because their is nothing worse than   
   having your dreams come true.. What is left for you to want.   
      
   As it is I have no interest in doing anything to you, because I don't   
   have an incentive to do so... as I said before insults don't work.. And   
   I am bored to death of being asked to produce magick out of a hat as if   
   I were a stage illusionist. Stage illusionist get payed I don't..   
      
   Your simply someone on a newsgroup, we have had an interesting   
   conversation which is nice, but I don't need to prove myself to you...   
   No more than you need to prove yourself to me.   
      
   I use magick to help me, to help my friends, and to help my family. I am   
   not out to change the world or to make it a better place... I am not   
   that nice.. And I long ago realised that people can only make the world   
   a better place when they actually do something about it themselves.   
      
   You don't beleive in magick... Do you beleive in you.. Have you the   
   confidence to make your life work to make sure you get the breaks you   
   want, to make the things you enjoy and need available to you.   
      
    To know that if your in need of money it will come always and without   
   winning the lottery.... I wanted a good relationship, I got one, I   
   wanted a happy marriage I got one, I wanted healthy happy bright kids I   
   got them. I wanted an education that my background and my parents   
   couldn't provide I got it, I wanted a Scholarship I got it. I wanted to   
   always have enough money to live comfortably I got it.   
   I am old I am disabled, and it doesn't bother me, I have a wonderful   
   life and have had a wonderful life... a little magick can go a long way.   
   )   
   Whatever happens in my life I can look back on an amazing and enjoyable   
   life, a great deal of travel and more to come. Lots of friends, and a   
   great family.. And a hubby who still makes me laugh and who still holds   
   my hand when we go out..   
   Has my life been magical... you betcha.   
      
   You think I live in some sort of make beleive world... I am perhaps the   
   realest person you could meet. Practical, down to earth, and very   
   capable. I don't have a house full of mystical mumbo jumbo. My books and   
   their are thousands of them, Range from detective novels to historical   
   treaties... I can cook to professional standards, do paid research. Have   
   a mind that tends to see around corners, think life is amazing and   
   funny. And have a totally twisted sense of humour... I really do see the   
   funny side of life and people.. Its kept me laughing for years. :)   
      
   Oh yes the ancient Romans had condo's... a bad building code,  all those   
   balcony's were always falling off buildings, traffic problems and a   
   traffic system in Rome.. Delivery wagons were not allowed in Rome during   
   the day, they caused to many traffic jams,   
    They even had a rudimentary health system that addressed the problems   
   of hot food sold from stalls and stands.... and underweight bread. and   
   punitive measures against those who destroyed or degraded the water   
   system.   
   I could even cook a roman meal for you, tell you how to use honey to   
   save wine that was going sour, and get your washing white with urine...(   
   I would prefer not to demonstrate that :)" I am a herbalist and grow use   
   and research herbs and herb law, Have my name in several books and love   
   History.. That is what I got my degree in. :)   
      
   I am also an excellent dowser, and dowsing is not something that you can   
   explain I take it. Good dowsers earn very good money, it seems that the   
   ability to use your own body to divine water, metals or other things. Is   
   something that can be done but is practically impossible to explain.   
   However dowsing can be taught like an art or craft.   
      
   Now tell me Tom... how is your life....;)
