   It was a joke. There's an article which has an imaginary conversation   
   between Crowley and GBG, supposedly creating Wicca over a couple of bottles   
   of brown ale and a lot of nudge-nudge about the scourging.   
      
   Seriously, though, there are certainly Crowleyan elements in Wicca, but I   
   don't know of any sources which say they were freely contributed - far as I   
   know, GBG simply appropriated them and slotted them in along with his other   
   strands.
