From: bliss-sf4ever@dslextreme.com               "All the Dead Shall Weep" by Charlaine Harris        From Saga Press a Simon and Shuster imprint copyright 2023        Sold then at $28.99. I got this copy at the SFPL where I have        gotten all the rest of the series and if you have not read the        earlier books in the series you are missing a treat. Also there        are maps in the earlier books about arrangements of political        power.        This the 5th Book in the epic of Lizbeth Rose the gunnie in a story        happening about the 1930s in a strange political arrangement        of North America. The USA has disintegrated from the Union with        Dixie taking itself away, William Randoph Hearst invited the deposed        and exiled Tsar and his court to California and now the capital of the        Holy Russian Empire is in San Diego. Lisbeth lives in Texhoma in a        small town Segundo Mexia. She makes her living as a hired gun to        protect travelers and shipments. Bandits are all over the place and        Indians are at hand but not attacking generally. Militias are stirring        though and Lizbeth and her half-Sister Felicai have just been reunited        along with Peter, the brother of her husband Eli. Then the strange        militia attacks Segundo Mexia. It takes some time but they are looking        for wizards, Peter and Eli (both wizards called grigori) follow       them ...        Felicia, a death wizard, and Lizbet follow them. Quite a lot happens        as might be expected in a Harris book.               Spoilers in ROT 13        Sryvpvn gubhtu unys genvarq vf n irel cbjre jvgpu/jvmneq jvgu cbjref        bire yvsr naq qrngu.
