   His "The Year of the Quiet Sun" was an ace special, and his "The Lincoln   
   Hunters" was some sort of retro-special. "The Long Loud Silence" is a   
   post-plague disaster novel which is approximately 1400 pages shorter   
   than "The Stand". "The Warlock" is a cold-war novel with SF elements.   
      
      
   I've fond memories of all of them.
