   This and its colleagues (19 novels in 8 years, you note) were read as   
   soon as as SFBC offered them (at least, the SF was -- I tried one   
   about "The Sidhe" but found it impenetrable).   
      
   And kept right on reading after that. Even when she turned to soap   
   opera (as I believe I have noted before).
