Given their use in Ukraine, this is unavoidable. It is just one of
many lessons learned about large-scale ground combat (as opposed to
   anti-partisan campaigns) with modern equipment.

A recent article in a military history magazine pointed out that,
while the use of trench lines in Ukraine is right out of WW I, the use
of drones is producing the pattern of unit dispersion advocated in the
80s for a NATO/USSR war in Europe featuring tactical nukes.

Anti-drone defenses are also being stimulated, IIRC.
