My records suggest that, when I stopped off in London for a day or two
on my way home from (then West) Germany while in the US Army, I
   purchased a /London Stadtplan/ for 25 pence.

Clearly I was still functioning on the "everything in German" plan I
had used when on leave in (then West) Germany/Austria/Switzerland.

   This was in 1982. The ISBN was 0 7095 0188 9, and I have a note of
another number: 50/GER/80/1853, which presumably identified the
   edition.
