   "Celebratory gun fire" is such an amazingly stupid idea, especially since   
   people tend to do it with live rounds, not blanks. Well, as the saying   
   goes: "What comes up, must come down". And when it is a bullet, it might   
   kill someone ... and yes, sadly, people have been killed by this.
