From: quadibloc@ca.invalid              There is now absolute and incontrovertible proof that the Earth rotates on       its axis!       I just read it on the PetaPixel site about photography.       It turns out that cameras today that electronically compensate for the       fact cameras are held in the shaky hands of human photographers... can       only manage 6.5 stops worth of motion compensation based on their internal       gyroscopes, due to the Earth's rotation!       This limit isn't absolute, though. Cameras can overcome it by compensating       for the Earth's rotation... if they have on-board GPS to determine their       location and orientation!       Of course, though, the Ptolemaic geocentric solar system is not disproved       by this.              John Savard              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
