   I bought Songs of Valor (Rob Howell and Chris Kennedy, Editors) awhile   
   because it had a Black Company short story in it and I do love me some   
   Glen Cook especially when he is writing in Croaker's voice. I was not   
   disappointed.   
      
   I also liked the rest of the book. It is book II of a series, Libri   
   Valoris. Obviously, it is an anthology published in 2021. I have heard   
   of one or two of the other authors, you may have heard of Larry Correia   
   or David Weber.   
      
   I had not run across the series before, so I will probably get book I   
   next. I am guessing the order does not matter.
