   Never understood that wanky term “speculative fiction”. And no, I   
   don’t see the “SF” umbrella including fantasy or -- gods forbid --   
   horror.   
      
   Edge examples:   
      
   * “Lord Of Light”, by Roger Zelazny: an SF story wearing the clothes   
     of a fantasy.   
   * “The Magic Goes Away” by Larry Niven: magic as a natural phenomenon   
     amenable to scientific study is not something most “fantasy” authors   
     could cope with intellectually, so I would call this “SF”.
