   Seven stories written in the 1950's by Fred Pohl.  Interestingly all of   
   these are later than _Tunnel Under the World_ and they are all a bit more   
   crudely-constructed than _Tunnel_.  But these are still great stories   
   which feel like the work of an author who is going to be great but isn't   
   there yet.  Includes what I think is the best treatment so far of the   
   "brain in a jar" character.  Highly, highly recommended.
