From: no_offline_contact@example.com              A very famous Canadian has died at the age of 91: Annette Dionne, the       last of the world-famous Dionne Quintuplets.              Although the bulk of their fame happened years before I was born, I've       certainly heard of the Dionnes a number of times over the years and know       that people travelled long distances to see them when they were young.              Quintuplets were exceedingly rare when they were born, long before the       advent of modern fertility drugs, and the fact of their survival made       them even rarer. This was sufficient for exploiters to set up a facility       where the Dionnes could be raised and tourists could observe them       "secretly".              It's a pretty bizarre story, all things considered:              https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dionne_quintuplets              I was also surprised to learn that their parents had had several       children before the Quints were born and several more afterwards! Poor       Mrs. Dionne must have been pregnant almost constantly!                     --       Rhino              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
