   A travel back home day, so I only got back home in time to see:   
      
   NFL football Wild Card playoffs - Chargers vs. Patriots. As I expected   
   going in, the Chargers were basically mangled by the Patriots. But what   
   made this frustrating is that for the first half, the Chargers made it   
   seem like they might keep it close. But by the second half, it was clear   
   there would be no offensive generation, and the defense was gradually   
   worn down by the Pats. Another disappointing playoff performance from   
   the Chargers...  :(   
      
   soaps: GH - Thur's ep. I was wondering for a while if they would go this   
   direction, and on Thursday they finally pulled the trigger - it is   
   revealed that Willow did in fact shoot Drew. (It kind of had to be her   
   because anyone else would have finished the job and killed Drew!) I am   
   wondering if that means that Katelyn Macmullen is leaving the show which   
   seems to be only rumored at this point... (Which would suck - the show   
   seems to keep losing all of their more appealing young actresses.)   
   Anyway, this was a pretty good reveal, though it means none of Willow's   
   recent motivations seem to make any sense. And worse it means they're   
   going to go with "asshole Michael was right!" which is unbearable as the   
   character is as big an ass as Drew is. Anyway, I'm curious to see where   
   they go with this.
