He can also fire them if they're incompetent or corrupt. Which he didn't.
Because he was terrified of offending the Somalians and losing their votes.

This fraud was brought to the attention of his office years ago, during the
reign of Joe "Grandpa Badfinger" Biden, and it was so blatant and corrupt that
even Biden's DOJ couldn't spin it away for a fellow Democrat and were forced
to launch the federal probe into it. (Something the legacy corporate media
never bothers to point out when they're claiming the DOJ fraud prosecutions in
Minnesota are just Trump playing politics.)

$24 billion in homeless money-- disappeared. Even Gavin publicly admitted they
have no idea who it was given to or where and on what it was spent.

$18 billion spent on a high speed rail train that after 17 years of
'construction' has not even one *inch* of track laid down.

$31 billion in COVID money that flew out the door to prisoners, grifters, and
international organized crime. Again, Gavin himself has admitted that the
intended recipients (Californians out-of-work due to lockdowns) never received
it while guys like Scott Peterson, the infamous family annihilator on death
row, got checks for tens of thousands of dollars.

That's $72 billion and it's just scratching the surface of the corruption in
   California under Newsom.

Swalwell? Remind me again why he's not in prison for employing a Chinese spy
in his congressional office while sitting on national security committees, and
then bedding her down to boot? I wonder if he gets a Christmas card every year
from Fang Fang in Beijing, where she fled before the FBI could arrest her?

   > and Letitia James.

Yeah, stick up for that corruptocrat. You've already shown that you think
cheerleading for grifters is some kind of flex, so why am I not surprised?

So signing an NDA to keep information from voters (and influence their votes)
   is now a crime?

Well, good news, then! We don't have to wait for Newsom's presidential run to
put him behind bars because he has required over 2000 workers on the new
Capitol Annex project in Sacramento to sign NDAs forbidding them from
disclosing the financial cost of the project to taxpayers and his
administration refuses all media and FOIA requests for that information. It's
somewhere north of a billion and a half, but that was five years ago, so who
knows how much it's ballooned to by now and how many Friends of Gavin have
pocketed dump-truck loads full of tax money.

Yep. And that ain't fraud. If paying for government programs that poll bad was
fraud, there'd be a lot more Democrats in prison than Republicans.
