I may have mentioned that last fall I stopped by my local high school on the
weekend to drop off a music engraving project the school band director hired
me to do and as I walked through the building, I glanced into the doors of the
open classrooms. It definitely struck me that there were a lot more Soviet
hammer-and-sickle flags, BLM flags, and rainbow flags on the walls of the
classrooms than there were American flags.

I'm fairly certain all those teachers (and the school administrators also)
would scream about the 1st Amendment if you were to tell them to take all that
bullshit propaganda off their walls, but if they had a new teacher show up one
day wearing a red MAGA hat, had an ICE flag hanging front and center on the
wall, and taught the kids about gun rights and the evils of abortion, they'd
instantly start singing a very different tune.

The 1st Amendment is for *them*, you see. Not for anyone who disagrees with
   them.
