There's a Chicago connection! There were supposed to be 700 performers.
During "Monaco", Giancarlo Guerrero, conductor of the Grant Park
Orchestra, conducted a 30-member string orchestra of young musicians
   from San Francisco.

He was born in Nicaragua, grew up in Costa Rica, and received his
classical music education at various universities in the United States.
The Grant Park Orchestra performs free concerts over the summer; he
   began conducting in summer 2025.
