   I just saw this article and thought you might be interested. A man in   
   Saskatchewan had to resort to gunfire to take down a moose that had   
   attacked his mother and him.

   I've heard of people colliding with moose in cars and of moose damaging   
   people's property during mating season but this is the first moose   
   attack on a person I've heard of. Then again, we don't have any moose in   
   this area so maybe attacks on humans are not actually all that rare.
