       Popular Hulu TV Show Is Ending After Season 3, Creator Confirms

       A popular Hulu drama is coming to an end after three seasons.   
       The series' creator confirmed the decision ahead of its final   
       episode. She also addressed the show's future and why the story   
       will not continue beyond its current run.   
      
       Meaghan Oppenheimer confirms that Tell Me Lies is ending after   
       Season 3   
       Meaghan Oppenheimer has confirmed that Tell Me Lies will conclude   
       with its third season. Ahead of the Feb. 16 finale, she wrote on   
       Instagram, "After three amazing seasons of Tell Me Lies,   
       tonight's episode will be the series finale." She added, "This   
       was always the ending my writing team and I had in mind, and we   
       are insanely proud of it."   
      
       Oppenheimer stated, "Your incredible response to this season   
       inspired us to explore whether there was another organic way to   
       continue the story, but ultimately we felt it had reached its   
       natural conclusion." She continued, "My main goal has always been   
       to protect the quality of the show and give you the best   
       experience I can give you." The finale drops at 9 p.m. PT.   
      
       She also wrote, "And so, while it is bittersweet to leave   
       something that has been such a happy experience, I am very   
       grateful that we are able to tell a complete story with an   
       intentional ending, a privilege very few shows get." Oppenheimer   
       added, "Thank you for loving our show. We are excited to bring you   
       more stories in the near future." Season 3 was not marketed as the   
       final season, but she said it "was definitely the ending I had   
       always imagined and pitched years ago".   
      
       The Hulu drama, based on Carola Lovering's 2018 novel, premiered   
       in September 2022 and follows two college students. It unfolds   
       across dual timelines set between 2008 to 2010 and in 2015 around   
       Bree and Evan's wedding.   
      
       The cast includes Grace Van Patten, Jackson White, Catherine   
       Missal and Spencer House. It also stars Sonia Mena, Branden Cook,   
       Benjamin Wadsworth, Alicia Crowder and Tom Ellis.   
      
       The series finale airs on Hulu on Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. PT.
