   Pudgy Dumb JD Vance becomes a laughing stock after Trump-style rants backfire

   JD Vance's attempt at Trump-style backfired on him in a major way online.   
      
   President Donald Trump came under fire earlier this month after getting into   
   a verbal exchange with CNN's Kaitlan Collins. When pressed about the release   
   of the Jeffrey Epstein files, Trump instead scolded Collins.   
      
   "Look, CNN is thrilled. She never smiles, " he said. "Someday I'll see her   
   smile. " As Collins began to ask her question, Trump called her the "worst   
   reporter. "   
      
      
      
   "No wonder CNN has no ratings because of people like you. " The vice   
   president attempted to defend his boss on a Feb. 4 podcast appearance with   
   Megyn Kelly.   
      
   Vance echoed Trump's criticism that Collins should have just smiled. "Just   
   have some fun, " Vance said. "You can't always take yourself too seriously...   
   You're gonna have a heart attack. "   
      
   Kelly agreed, adding that Collins "never smiles" and suggested that smiling   
   would show viewers she has "a heart. "   
      
      
   Vance's comments drew immediate criticism online, with an X user posting a   
   collage of photos of the vice president with different facial expressions,   
   none of which showed him smiling. "You should smile more. I never see you   
   smile. You'd be so much prettier if you smiled, " the caption read.   
      
   One person described Vance as having a "toddler pout. " Meanwhile, another   
   person asked if he was "one of those under the bridge trolls. "   
      
   "JD Vance always looks like he just took a bite of something terrible, but   
   can't spit it out without offending everyone at the table, " said a third   
   person. One user declared that Vance "will never be prettier if he smiles. "   
   Vance booed at the Winter Olympics   
      
   The backlash comes as Vance received a chilly reception at the opening   
   ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.   
      
   The vice president and Second Lady, Usha Vance, were met with verbal jeers   
   last Friday after they were briefly shown on screen waving American flags.
