   For a while, they tried electronically "tracing" the puck for TV   
   viewers. It was interesting, but (imo) lost the feel of the game --   
   which, it must be said, is substantially a slapdash affair.   
      
   And, yeah, I've often wondered what hockey's rule-book must say about a   
   goalie's silhouette acreage.
