   Another common ploy is putting words and implications into someone   
   else's mouth, and worse, smearing it as a "ploy".   
      
   I neither addressed, nor implied, nor intended to address, nor   
   intended to imply, anything about the utility of any form of   
   endianness.  I did not even think of the issue until your article.   
   I was merely pointing out an anecdote of historical arithmetical /   
   lexicographic trivia, in the hopes that other people might find it as   
   fascinating as I did.
