When I was 16, and first learning to drive, I almost T-boned an elderly
female driver. She moved over to the right-hand lane, signaled a right
turn, started to turn to the right, then apparently realized that she
really needed to make a left turn. So, she abruptly went left instead of
right, directly across my path, without giving any indication that she
   was going to do so.
