That's why I am always frightened when a Perth driver has his indicators
   flashing -
Is he just wondering for the first time what that stalk sticking out
   from his steering column is?
Has he just left them flashing since he last turned?
Is he intending to turn in the other direction?
Has he knocked the switch by accident?

I wait until the car has either slowed enough to be able to stop or has
actually begun to turn before I move.
