Why doesn't Elysium have any strategic defenses (against intruding spaceships
or missiles)? After all, it was constructed as a refuge for wealthy refugees
   fleeing Earth.

As 3 unauthorized shuttles approach, they are warned that they are violating
"Elysium airspace". Since Elysium is in space, which has no air, how can the
   space around it be "airspace"?

The defense minister is called on the carpet for having two of the shuttles
(which had been bringing people to Elysium to be treated in its rapid healing
machines) destroyed, by an agent on Earth. Since the Elysium President
   appears to have compassion
for the people who died on the shuttles, why doesn't he arrange for Elysium
healing devices to be installed in Earth hospitals? Since he has enough
compassion to complain about the destruction of inhabited shuttles, shouldn't
   he have enough compassion
to have healing machines installed in Earth hospitals?

During the latter part of the movie, Max wears a surgically implanted
exoskeleton OVER his shirt! How is he expected to take off his shirt?

At the end, Max and Spider reprogram Elysium's central computer to regard all
members of the human race as Elysium citizens. The central computer therefore
decides to send medical shuttles to Earth to treat everyone who's sick or
   injured. Does Elysium
have enough resources to treat Earth's entire population?

Will Earth's entire population now immigrate to Elysium? If so, how will
   Elysium support them?

After the reprogramming, a police droid refuses to arrest Spider, saying that
it can't arrest Elysium citizens. If police droids can't arrest Elysium
citizens, how would they deal with crimes committed by Elysium citizens?
