   It was a sequel to Chronicles (with a reference to and only one scene with   
   Vaako, Karl Urban), but played much more like Pitch Black.  The first 2/3s   
   were excellent, with good CGI and good monsters/creatures.  I was very much   
   entertained.  It had almost nothing to do with the Necromongers; mostly it   
   was 'stuck in a bad place with bad people, let's see if he can survive'.
