   A world with pirates and the like has weak government, not strong   
   "morality".  The Greeks had slaves and dealt with pirates, but they   
   didn't have much problem with buggering the boy slaves.  And nobody much   
   cared what the women did with each other--girls don't get other girls   
   pregnant.
