From: ikonoqlast@gmail.com              Ender's Game... Big budget abortion of a popular science fiction novel.        Pretty, but as an adaptation, or even as its own story seriously messed up.        Hollywood added nothing, changed some things (for the worse) and what they       left alone they also left        incomplete.               Every aspect of the book was messed up. Hell, the internal drama and       storytelling within the movie was messed up.               John Carter level abomination...                             This is the End. Various B list celebrities playing folded/spindled/mutilated       versions of themselves (ie don't judge the actual people by what you see on       screen) as they experience The Apocalypse (from the Bible) in comedy form.               Funny and entertaining. Good, not great.                             Safety Not Guaranteed. A Seattle magazine writer and two interns do a piece       on an apparent sad nutcase who put an ad in the paper looking for someone to       accompany him back in time. He *says* he has a time machine...               Terrific movie, best of the bunch here.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
